How to approach him?

Therefore, we have to use body language. Squinting at him, getting closer to him little by little, and stopping if he becomes uncomfortable (that is, if he is about to leave, or if he snorts or growls at us) are gestures that will help him understand that we do not want to hurt him. It is also highly recommended to bring cans of wet feed to fill a feeder, since then there will come a time when the desire to eat will overcome fear.
Do it like this for as long as it takes, getting a little closer each time. There will come a time when you can get so close that you can caress him on the back, as one who does not want the thing. Can you live in a house?
Not recommended. A wild cat is used to living on the street. It is and wants to remain free in that sense. Only if he is very meek could one try to take him home to live with a human family, but he would always have to have access to the outside.
There are cats that do not want to know anything about humans, and you have to respect them. But there are others who, little by little, can be taught that not all people are bad, and that they can trust us.
