How many times has it happened to you that you have called your feline over and over again and he has not come to your call? And, how many have you raised your voice while your anguish was increasing thinking that something had happened to him? A few, right? You might often think that he loves to give us a hard time, but ... that could be about to end, as I am going to tell you how to find a cat at home quickly.
Yes, it is actually very easy to attract the attention of the furry. You just have to know what you enjoy; you know, what he can't resist. Then it's just a matter of making a little noise, saying the magic words ... and that's it. Keep reading, I'm going to explain it to you better. 😉
What is my cat going crazy with?
This is the first thing we have to ask ourselves before worry invades us. Some, for example, cannot resist cat cans (wet food). It is hearing the sound of the can opening and they run towards it, even if they have been enjoying a nice and comfortable nap. To get their attention, we simply have to tap the can.
On the other hand, other furry ones like sound toys more, like a ball. If our cat is one of them, we will take his favorite toy and make it sound.
What are the magic words?
So that the can or the toy is really useful to us, we have to call our cat with the magic words. Each one will have theirs. Mine for example are, calling the furry with a very happy tone of voice and saying the word "can". If it doesn't work, I always say "look, look," using the same tone parents use when they want to teach their young children something very interesting.
It is important use the same words every time, since this way the animal will very soon associate them with that prize that it likes so much.
What if it doesn't come out of hiding?
Sometimes, however, no matter how much we call it there is no way it will get out. In this situations, we will have no choice but to look for it in every corner. You have to take a look even in those places where it is not supposed to be, such as inside the closet for example, or in the laundry room.
Accidents can happen, so if once we have found him we see that he is limping or that he is unwell, we must take him to the vet as soon as possible. Still, prevention is always the best cure: we have to keep all cleaning products, sharp and / or small objects, and those things that can easily fall away from our cat.
