When autumn-winter arrives and the temperatures begin to drop, our cats seem to want to spend more time curled up next to us and not so much exploring the home; and is that ... who wants to walk around the house being able to be covered with a blanket on a cold day?
Because, yeah, cats are chilly. Some more than others, of course. But, How to know if ours are?
I will tell you the case of my cats. I currently live with four of them: 10-year-old Susty, 7-year-old Keisha, 3-year-old Benji and 6-month-old Sasha.
- Susty: she is a cat that hardly spends time at home. He comes to eat and get some sleep. When it's cold, she does like to lie close to someone, but she's not a very cold cat.
- Keisha: During the winter she goes out for a short walk and comes back right away. If it rains, it doesn't come out. He prefers to fall asleep in a cat cave I bought for them, lined with stuffed fabric.
- Benji: He likes to go out, hot or cold, but at night he is one of those who, if he gets a chance, gets under the covers. Have you ever fallen asleep?
- Sasha: the kitten of the family is very cool. If it is cold, it will be put on the neck if necessary. He does not go outside, but if he finds a corner where he can sunbathe, he will make the most of it.
Therefore, based on the behavior of my furry I can say that you will know if yours are cold if you see that they get under the blankets or sheets, if they want to be by your side or sleep with you, or even if they spend time sunbathing. Those moments are, without a doubt, the most tender of winter. Enjoy them 🙂.
