Tips for caring for cat hair

Bicolor cat grooming

The cat spends much of its time grooming itself. When they wake up in the morning, after eating, after you pet him, after going to the bathroom ... In short, every time he feels that he is dirty or that he could be. Hygiene, then, is something extremely important for this animal; However, If you are very sick or weak, you can stop grooming yourself, and if that happens, your life could be in danger.

To avoid it, I'm going to give you a few tips to care for cat hair.

The most effective way to avoid future problems is to anticipate them. In this case, what we have to do is accustom the furry from a very young age to bathing and brushing, since this way, tomorrow if something happens, it will be much easier for us to pick him up, carry him to the bathtub or sink, and bathe him (if you don't know how to do it, here we explain how you should proceed).

Importantly, you cannot bathe a cat more than once a month, the skin could end up losing its own protective layer. If it gets dirty before the 30 days have passed, we will clean it with a cloth or a small towel dipped in warm water (neither cold nor hot), without shampoo. Then we will brush it.

But in addition to personal hygiene (or feline, rather 🙂), we must also take care of their diet. Feed with a high content of proteins of animal origin and that do not contain any type of cereal or derivatives, will help the cat's hair look shiny, healthy. You can even mix their food with salmon oil to take even more care of their fur (and by the way, to make them enjoy their food even more).

With these tips, your cat can show off its fur.
