Stray cat

Stray cats are those that inhabit the streets. Close but at the same time far from humanity. Only a few two-legged volunteers dare to take care of the furry ones; there are some who care so much that they do the impossible to improve the quality of life of the felines.

People tend to want to give something very special on special dates: birthdays, Christmas ... We do not give away living beings if we do not know in advance that they will be very loved, because tomorrow they may be added to the huge list of photos of stray cats, like the ones we are going to show you.

A cat can become pregnant as early as six months of age and have 24 kittens a year. Feline overpopulation is a problem that we all have to take responsibility for, because many of those kittens, not to say the vast majority but all, can end their days on the street. For this reason, we have to castrate our felines, both males and females before they have the first heat (with 5-6 months). It is very sad to see a stray kitten, because you know that unless it gets help, it will most likely not reach one year of age.

In the street there are many dangers, especially if it is from a city. Cars, people who do not like cats and also treat them badly, children who are dedicated to throwing stones, intoxicated food ... A stray cat has to overcome many challenges every day to survive, but can you imagine a cat that has been abandoned, who does not know what the street is? If the stray already has many problems, the one that has been abandoned simply could not survive long.

A sack of feed of 20kg of the cheapest costs about 20 euros. If you have that money left over a month and you want to help some cats, don't hesitate: put feeders in your garden, or give the money in the form of a donation to a Protector to dedicate himself to taking care of stray cats. With that sack of food you can feed five cats for two months (more or less).

Stray cats, even if they are in the street, deserve our respect.
