Figaro cat

Figaro cat

Who does not remember the precious cat Figaro? A furry black and white who had a very special character, and who never left his human family, consisting of Mr. Geppetto and his creation and later son: Pinocchio.

He is a lovable fictional character, who has managed to win his own followers, so that it would not take long to appear in other drawings.

History

The Figaro cat is a domestic feline that first appeared in the Disney classic »Pinocchio», With whom he would live with Geppetto, Pinocchio, Cleo (the fish) and Grillo, who would teach the protagonist to behave well and not get into trouble. But this was not the only time we could see it, but in 1943 it would come out again, this time with Tom and Jerry.

That same year he would appear again in Victory Vehicles, a short of Goofy in which Pluto would also appear. In it, Goofy is seen taking Figaro and taking him to a platform for Pluto to see and chase him. But he's out of luck: Figaro taunts Pluto, who starts to get angry as the cute cat races on the wheels of Goofy's invention.

We could see it again in 1944, in the short of Minnie, Pluto and Figaro. Later, between 1946 and 1950, we would once again enjoy his personality in Bath day, Figaro and frankie, cat nap pluto, Pluto's Sweater y Vika Na 'Vika. From the year 2000, he would make us laugh again in The Mouse Show (2001) Mickey's Magical Christmas: Gathering to Celebrate! (2001), and in video games Disney's Magical Mirror Starring Mickey Mouse (2002) and Kingdom Hearts (2002)

What race does it belong to?

Tuxedo cat

If you want to have a flesh and blood Figaro, you are in luck. There are several breeds of house cats that can be bi-colored. These animals are called tuxedo cats, bicolor cats: jellicle cats. The races I'm talking about are:

  • Short haired american- They can have several colors, including a white coating with black spots. The color can be "black smoke", with a white coating deeply sloped with black; "Black and white smoke", which is white with some black smoke-colored skin; "Shaded silver", with a white coating with specific black spots; »Bi-color», which is black and white; and "go bi-color", which is the one with white fur with black head, tail and legs.
  • Persian- The beautiful Persian cat can also be black and white, and is called a bicolor Persian.
  • Turkish Angora: this cat can be of different colors, among them the »bi-color», »silver shadow», »black smoke» or »smoke and white».

So, if you plan to increase the family, you can have a very special Figaro 🙂.
