What happens if a cat rejects her pups?

newborn kitten

There are times when cats, after giving birth, they can rkick one of the offspring that they have had or even all of them, and they do not take care but what they do is let them die.

As we do not want that to happen, because the offspring are not to blame, we would like to give you some guidelines to try to save them so that they can live all of them (although we do not lie to you, it is something difficult to achieve but not impossible).

The first thing we will do is pick up the kitten or kittens that the cat has rejected and place them in a box (not too big) where they can be without danger of falling. We must have some wool rags in the box, which is what will provide the most heat and thus will keep them warm. If there are several babies, it is better that they are together because that way they will feel accompanied (a single one may be easier to raise but it is easier for it to die).

Now we have the place where they will be. The next thing we have to take care of is your food, and here you have to be strict. If we want them to survive, we have to feed them every 2 hours maximum so that they can be well. We will need a baby bottle (one of the first to be given) and also milk (which can be formula that we buy at vets or a little milk with water (so it is not too heavy)). I recommend formula so there are no problems.

Remember give it every two hours (included at night). That is, if they have eaten at 12 o'clock at night, at 2 o'clock they have to give it again. Also make sure they are always warm, either with an electric blanket under the bed, with a hot water bottle next to them, etc.

Cat perfumes

royal puppies, cats perfume

Sometimes we find that our cat does not smell as good as we wish And having to bathe it often can be an ordeal because cats hate water and, although they are used to it, it is not the best for them (because they lose properties in their hair).

Before it was said that perfumes and shampoos in cats they are bad for them because what they do is burn their hair. However, there are some products that are not as bad as they may seem at first.

Normally perfumes should be applied at a distance of between 10 to 15 cm from the animal's body, avoiding contact with eyes, mucous membranes, armpits and irritated and / or injured areas.

And speaking of perfumes, one of the perfumes that we have found for cats is from the brand Royal puppies (which also works for dogs).

It is a perfume that has four fragrances, two for kittens and two for kittens. These products are approved by SENASA, and made by a
Laboratory dedicated to the development of products for the care of
animal with what should not be dangerous for them (unless you are allergic to them).

Do Cats Have Feelings and Emotions?

Based on feline physiology, it is probably assumed that cats can feel emotions.

The cats are mammals, and therefore they have brain structures, and the shape of the brain is very similar to the shape of the human brain.

Wayne Hunthausen, believes for a fact that cats feel emotions, just like any human being. Although there is no way to know for sure "without talking to the cat" that cats express themselves according to their emotions and not according to their behavior; since they can be similar in both situations.

According to therapist Carole Wilbourn, she also believes that cats have emotions. "They are able to express different moods: happiness, sadness, anger, etc ... A cat acts the way it feels".

Cats feel all those emotions that human beings feel, "They may not react in the same way, but they definitely feel the same emotions that we do," Warren Eckstein said.

Perhaps cats do get to feel emotions, but not necessarily in the same way that humans think. The human being is prepared to remember and suffer with his past, if there were problems in him. We remember moments of happiness, joy, abandonment, sadness or restlessness when we are in front of a letter or we listen to a specific song.

I don't think cats demonstrate anything when listening to the same song and not under other circumstances either.

Fake nails for cats disastrous

fake nails for cats

Ok, I admit it, as soon as I saw this product for cats I told myself, everyone should know this because it is a so strange, little known and original accessory that she had to talk about him.

Surely from the title you already know what it is: artificial nails that are put on cats to prevent them from damaging furniture and upholstery when they sharpen their nails.

These nails are transparent covers (so that they are not too noticeable and the cats themselves may want to take them off) made of a very soft and light vinyl polymer, so that they do not bother the animal at all, which can walk, extend its claws and even scratch normally.

All the instructions they give us to put them on are very simple:

  • We clean the nails
  • We cut a little (especially the peak)
  • We put the glue on the cover
  • We put the cover on the nail.

As you can see, an effective method against damage. Although I suppose all cats will have to get used to them.
